Larry Flynt has decided to run for governor of California for the recall campaign. While I know of only one Californian that might be reading this entry, I know that Larry would get my vote:

1. Has already demonstrated remarkable success at running businesses
2. Knows more about law than some lawyers I could name
3. Tireless champion for 1st-Amendment rights at own personal cost
4. Socially liberal

Here is the aformentioned one Californian, weighing in:

Our governor kinda sucks.

The fact that every gubernatorial election from here on out will be
put to a referendum sucks *much* worse.

Beth thinks that we have to actually vote for Richard Riordan, so if
Davis is recalled (and no other Dems run) we don't get Ah-nuld.

P.S.: It's *CRAZILY* easy to get onto the ballot. I actually gave
consideration to running (for the hell of it), but I don't need my
private life to be open to scrutiny. Oh, well.
